What is a Chemical Peel?
Chemical peels are a procedure where a trained professional treats the skin with a chemical solution that causes the skin to exfoliate and then peel off. The rejuvenated skin is smoother and less wrinkled, giving you a healthy glow and a younger appearance.
Chemical peels are often used to treat acne scars, sun damaged skin, and melasma. They can also help reduce the appearance of crow’s feet and wrinkles around the mouth, reduce brown spots and improve the appearance of enlarged pores. While people most often think of chemical peels as a procedure for the face, they can also be performed on the hands or neck.
Now is the perfect time to take advantage of chemical peels. Depending on the strength of the peel you may or may not experience a few days of temporary redness. It is also important to stay out of the sun while your skin goes through the peeling process. So take advantage of our Valentine’s offer while it’s cold outside and you can easily stay indoors with a good book or a few movies.
Our Valentine’s Week offer provides two choices at different levels of treatment. While one is usually offered as a series of treatments, the Perfect Peel is a deeper treatment that allows clients to come in for just one treatment to experience intended results. Call our office to learn more and find out which treatment is right for you.
For either treatment you choose, a consultation will be scheduled before treatment. This gives our aesthetician the opportunity to go over the procedure in depth, and talk about your goals in order to get a procedure that is right for you.
