avie Dermatology was started in Advance, NC in 1991. We moved to our current location in Kinderton Village in March 2008. We are dedicated to providing the absolute best dermatologic care, and pride ourselves on treating every patient like a member of the family.

Dermatologists are specialized physicians who have completed 4 years of medical school to earn a M.D. degree, at least one year of medical or surgery residency, and 3 years of dermatology residency, for a total of 8 years of advanced medical education and traning. All of our physicians are board certified in dermatology, Diplomats of the American board of Dermatology, and Fellows of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dermatologists specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of any condition involving the skin, as well as disorders of the hair, nails, and mucous membranes. Physician Assistants ("P.A.") have a 2-years masters degree obtained after an undergraduate degree. Both of our physician assistants have had years of experience in the field of dermatology, and work under the direct supervision of our physicians.
